Welcome to the official website of David Elio Malocco's book Serial Sex Killers which was published on Amazon and Kobo on the 28 February 2014
Imagine this. You were in an accident, a car crash. You suffered serious head injuries. It took weeks to awake from a coma. Doctors, neurosurgeons, and trauma experts say you have fully recovered. But you know you haven’t. Deep down in your heart and soul, you know you haven’t fully recovered because you know you no longer possess a soul.
As a result of this accident you realize you have no conscience. You do not experience feelings of guilt or remorse. You don’t care about strangers, colleagues, family friends or even loved ones. You feel no shame or guilt. The whole concept of responsibility is alien to you. But best of all, you can conceal all of this from the people closest to you with effortless ease. They have no idea that your psyche is radically different from theirs. They assume you have a conscience because, well, everyone has. But you don’t, why? You don’t, because, you are a psychopath.
You can do so many things you have never done before, bad things, very bad things, horrible, sick, disgusting, perverse things. You are not restricted by guilt or shame. And you are smart, much, much smarter than those around you. You can rob, abduct, rape, torture, dismember and kill and feel no conscience whatsoever. If you genuinely believed you could do what you liked, without guilt or shame, and get away with it – how would you choose to live your life?
The answer will depend on what you actually want from life. This is simply because not everyone is made the same way. We are all wired with different circuits. Irrespective of your conscience you may just as easily choose a life of inertia as one filled with wild ambitions. Some of us are brilliant and bright; some of us are dim and dull; but most of us, whether we have a conscience or not, are somewhere in between. There are violent people motivated by blood lust and there are kind people motivated by decent values.
Psychopaths represent a not insignificant 4% of the entire population. You may think that this is a very low percentage but when you compare it with those who suffer from anorexic eating disorders (3.43%) or those with colon cancer (0.4%) or those suffering from schizophrenia (1%) then the figure is alarmingly high – one in every twenty five. Yet surprisingly, we know very little about this disorder. We only think in terms of violent psychopathy – sadists, rapists, pedophiles, murderers, serial sex killers, mass murderers - people who have conspicuously broken the law many times over, and who, if they are ever caught, will be imprisoned. But, there is also a large number of non-violent psychopaths among us.
Those who have no conscience at all are a group unto themselves, whether they are homicidal tyrants or merely ruthless social snipers. Some commentators believe that the presence or absence of conscience is a deep human division, arguably more significant than race, intelligence, or even gender. What differentiates a psychopath, who is a serial fraudster, from one, who occasionally robs supermarkets, or, what makes the difference between an ordinary bully and a sociopathic serial killer - is nothing more than social status, ambition, sex drive, intelligence, blood lust, or simple opportunity. What distinguishes the psychopath or sociopath from the rest of us is a void in their brain or a black hole in their psyche. It's now time for us to delve into that black hole and into the minds of the world's most depraved serial sex killers.
The American serial killer, Henry Lee Lucas, once grimly proclaimed: “All across the country, there are people just like me, who set out to destroy human life.” Every country has serial killers and most of them are never caught. The frightening thing is that you probably know someone near you who appears to be quite normal, friendly, happily married, maybe even with children. But that outwardly normal person could actually be a closet psychopath. The figures for psychopaths are alarmingly one, one in every twenty five people. This meticulously researched book, containing the most up to date information available, provides an altogether intriguing investigation into the dark hearts and twisted minds of the most deviant sexual psychopaths American has ever known and investigates the questions we all want answered.
Was Dr. Thomas Neill Cream actually the real Jack the Ripper? Instead of serving the final few years of his prison sentence in Joliet Prison in Illinois, was he, in fact released early and did he travel to London in 1888 to commit the Ripper crimes?
Was Albert De Salvo responsible for any of the Boston Strangler murders or is the real Boston Strangler or Stranglers still alive? The book names the two primes suspects, one dead and one still alive. This case is brought right up to events in 2014.
Who else was involved with John Wayne Gacy in the torture and murder of several dozen young men? Clearly, he was assisted by associates. Why have they never been charged?
How many people did Ed Gein really kill? Was he really insane or was he faking it to avoid execution?
Is it possible that Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgway actually killed hundreds of female victims, far more than was previously thought? Will their bodies ever be found
Was Albert Fish, who tortured, murdered, dismembered and ate the bodies of little children all across America, the most depraved sexual psychopath ever? How many children did he actually torture and kill, five or one hundred?
Read all about them in this fascinating and hugely enjoyable book featuring Dr. Thomas Cream, Albert Fish, Albert De Salvo, Ed Gein, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgway and Jeffrey Dahmer and learn about their families, their upbringing, their crimes, their motivations and how they were finally caught. Were they insane or just cunningly evil, depraved killers?
Read the arguments for and against in this hugely enjoyable book and make up your own mind about the world’s most notorious serial sex killers.
